These Terms & Conditions apply to consumer purchases made through the SemarDesign online shop. Product descriptions, key characteristics, prices and availability are shown on the relevant product and checkout pages. The total payable amount and available payment methods are shown before an order is submitted.
An order is submitted when you press the final order button. That action creates an obligation to pay. We will provide an order confirmation using the contact details supplied during checkout. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund amounts already paid where applicable.
Unless another delivery period is expressly agreed, orders are fulfilled within the period stated for the product and in any event subject to mandatory consumer law. Custom-made production times may differ and are communicated before or after order confirmation as applicable.
Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases after receiving goods. Statutory exceptions apply, including goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. This exception is applied only where the ordered item is genuinely made to personal specifications; ordinary standard products are not treated as personalised merely because they are furniture.
Where the right of withdrawal applies, notify us clearly within the withdrawal period. Goods should be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice. The consumer bears direct return costs where this is clearly stated before purchase. We may withhold reimbursement until the goods are returned or evidence of return is supplied, where permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods. Please contact us first in writing if you have a complaint so that we can try to resolve it.
