For standard consumer goods purchased at distance, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal generally starts when the consumer receives the goods. To exercise the right, send us an unambiguous withdrawal notice before the period expires.
Return goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of withdrawal. Unless we have agreed otherwise or mandatory law provides otherwise, direct return costs are borne by the consumer where the consumer was informed of this before purchase. Large furniture may involve higher return transport costs than ordinary parcel shipments.
The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply where a statutory exception applies, including products made to your individual measurements, specifications or otherwise clearly personalised. Standard catalogue products remain subject to the ordinary withdrawal rules where no exception applies.
Where withdrawal is valid, payments are reimbursed within the statutory period using an appropriate payment method. We may wait until the goods have been returned or until you provide evidence of return where the law permits this. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
If goods arrive damaged, defective or do not conform to the contract, contact us promptly with the order number and, where useful, photographs. Your statutory remedies for non-conforming goods are not affected by the withdrawal rules.
